Following up with curiosities and one of the greatest pleasures on earth, FOOD, I felt like sharing this with you, it’s the preparation of Persian rice, made by my friend Ella. She insists saying that we should not think of it as the official recipe, but I can tell you, it was oh-so good.
The dish was delicious, but the preparation per sé was even more impressive: Basmati rice, saffron water glass in the middle, peanuts, raisins, and flour paste on the lid of the pot in order to seal in aromas.
If prepared without yougurt and butter it qulaifies as vegan, not that I care, but still 🙂
