Photo of The Day: Egyptian Revolt

A friend of mine, Mr. Salton Rice, just uploaded this photo and as simple as it is it represents exactely the spirit in Tahrir Square.

Military helicopters, trompets, drums, shouts, there’s everything and everyone on Tahrir Square: muslims, Egyptians, poor and well-offs, teenagers, families, mothers, old people. Many of them coming from downtown poorest areas, many others coming from the outskirts of Cairo. Since June 30 Martyr Square has been a permanent sit-in place with probably a lot more people that there was when Mubarak was coming to his end.

Ultimatum for Morsi’s surrender? Tomorrow at 17:00 (15:00 GMT) to resign or face a very serious civil revolt… And considering Syria‘s situation, “very serious” is a possibility.
